Jérôme Coessens 2020 Largillier Blanc de Noirs Brut
This flagship wine constitutes half of the estate’s production – typically 10,000 bottles or so. Forthright and generous, and judiciously dosed at 8 grammes, the forceful flavor of yellow fruits topped with caramel gives way to a surprising trail of salt in the finish. Sourced from the two parcels called Fruit and Fleur, it is a fine ambassador for Pinot Noir from the Côte des Bars. 10 6-packs only.

Notes from the Producer: From a single vineyard called Largillier; from a single varietal : Pinot Noir.
The soil, the sub soil and even the exposure (kimmeridgian Marl n°2), down to the very last detail, are exactly the same as in the very best areas of Chablis.
