Jérôme Coessens 2020 "Exogyre" Brut
The concept behind this magisterial champagne is to blend every parcel from every year between 2006 and 2015 into a solera. (Our latest cuvée brings the blend up to 2020). The result is poised confidently between youth and maturity – the latter shows in a beguiling touch of torrefaction, but the former dominates in the wine’s preternatural freshness. The finish is never-ending.

Notes from the Producer: Exclusively from our Largillier vineyard, from a single varietal : Pinot Noir but in the case of this champagne, from several different harvests.
We use grapes from all 4 plots in our vineyard: MINERAL, FRUIT, FLOWER and SUBSTANCE.
A wine that is all about finesse with a delightful fresheness that highlights the subtle aromas of acacia honey, ripe pineapple and a touch of menthol on the finish.
Bold on the attack (thanks to the clay in the KM2 soil) ; refreshing with marked minerality and a long finish (thanks to the limestone content of the KM2 soil).
