Dom. Labbé 2023 Mondeuse "L'Essentiel"

Our first importation of Labbé’s rendition of this classic Savoyard varietal was quite excellent. Deep-coloured, rooty and incisive, it delivered a mouthful of pulsating fruit in a modest alcoholic frame of 12 degrees. 2023 repeated this tightrope act, albeit in a somewhat warmer vintage.
