Paterianakis 2019 Vidiano (Crete) ORGANIC
Giorgios does a beautiful job with Crete’s iconic white variety. Sporting just 12.5% alcohol, the wine is pale and initially understated, but it blossoms with air. Mid-weight and stony, it reminds one of a Clairette enlivened with a dash of aromatic Grenache Blanc. Really insinuating and easy to drink.

Notes from the Producer: The Vidiano is a native Cretan variety which was revived through the
efforts of pioneering winemakers and grape growers on the island. The variety is gaining a broad reputation, as it is already being grown and vinified throughout Crete by almost all winemakers. It is called the Cretan diva. Vidiano is a fruity & creamy wine with well balanced acidity due to the exposure of our organic vineyards to cooling winds.
Ideal for wine connoisseurs looking to age their white wines in a cellar.
