Vincent Raimbault N.V. Vouvray Extra Brut
Vincent has always made an Extra Brut from a selection of superior grapes, and in this year hit the jackpot, such that we were moved to step up-market, despite the entirely valid claims of the Brut. Brimming with classic elderflower Chenin aroma, and dancing on the palate like a trim ballerina, it just reeks of elegance.

Other Vineyard Details | Domaine de la Robinière is located in the heart of the Vouvray appellation, near the prestigious Loire Valley châteaux. Vincent and Julien Raimbault are delighted to welcome you to their troglodytic cellar in Chançay, where we invite you to a unique wine experience. Come and taste their Vouvray wines, a protected designation of origin (AOC) in the Loire Valley. During our tastings, you will appreciate the freshness, fruitiness, roundness, and finesse of our exceptional wines.
Our 16-hectare vineyard stretches across hillsides benefiting from the microclimates of the Loire Valley and the Brenne, a tributary of the Loire.
Vouvray is produced exclusively from the Chenin Blanc grape, also known as Pineau de la Loire. The clay-siliceous and clay-limestone soils, combined with our privileged location, allow for a unique and refined expression of this great white grape variety of the Loire Valley. |
Notes from the Producer: Vincent Raimbault settled here in 1980. He developed sales at the Domaine, initially at the "La Robinière" cellars, then at the "La Vallée du Vau" cellars. He participated in wine fairs in France and Belgium. His son, Julien, joined the business in September 2009.
Domaine de La Robinière continues to uphold the traditional methods of Vouvray winemaking. Guardians of ancestral know-how, Vincent and Julien Raimbault perpetuate this tradition through their passion for Vouvray and the Loire Valley.
Through a visit to the cellars, immerse yourself in the unique character of Domaine de La Robinière, steeped in authenticity and history.
