Dom. du Petit Bondieu 2021 Bourgueil "Le Petit Mont"
The clay-and-limestone soils of this parcel give rise to a sumptuous, more structured wine that nonetheless presents no obstacles to immediate pleasure by virtue of its sheer fullness and declamatory style. 2021 has been slower to demonstrate its strengths in the reds than the whites, the most striking of which is a saturation of mineral flavours.
