Christophe Pichon 2022 Cote Rotie 'Rozier'

Grown on a small hillside vineyard (0.75 hectares) planted 50 years ago in schistous soils, and worked by horses, the luxuriousness of the Syrah fruit was irresistible to us. This is a big-gun Côte Rôtie that can hold its own with much more expensive and exalted examples.
