Boeckel 2021 Riesling Brandluft ORGANIC
This lieu-dit was the first sold by Boeckel in the 19th century and holds a special place in their pantheon. Its highly complex soils on a sandy base give rise to a hauntingly-scented wine with a finesse suggestive of a Grand Cru (as with the Clos Eugénie below). The 2021 vintage brought a marked mineral charge to the wines, heightened by the elevated acidity of the year.
