Notes from the Producer: The 2003 vintage was extremely warm, marked by a heatwave. It was a challenging vintage. Spring and summer were sweltering. Despite this, at the end of August some providential rains arrived that did not prevent harvesting earlier than usual, right in the first days of September. Finally 550 mm of rainfall were recorded during the viticultural year, slightly below the average. Despite being a very mature vintage, Mestres' longest-aged cavas have managed to maintain a very good aging potential, especially in Magnum format.
