Aphros 2021 Phaunus Pet Nat Rosé
A simply delicious, low alcohol (11%) sparkler squeezed from two rare indigenous black grapes of the Vinho Verde region boasting a pale (but clear) hue, an ebulliently fresh aroma and more sheer fruity charm on the palate than seems decent. If you are hoping for new school funk, look elsewhere! The wine has proved to be a smash hit since its introduction here in the 2020 vintage.
