Dehours & Fils M.V. Brisefer Reserve Perpetuelle (Chardonnay) Extra Brut [6/750]
Starting with 2013, Jérôme has decided that all his parcel wines are going to be drawn from a kind of solera, to be renewed each year by the addition of about 35% new wine. Brisefer is an east-facing clay parcel, gently sloping, planted initially between 1966 and 1992, with a 25% renewal in 2015. The wine is aged in used barrels of 200-500 l., and is neither filtered nor fined. The results are stately and long. Just 60 bottles allocated to us.
