Laurent Perrachon 2022 Morgon Cote du Py

This celebrated vineyard, the best-known in Morgon, is prone to “over-delivery” in warm years, but, as in 2020, Perrachon has found a way to limn the borders of ripeness and produce a wine of swaggering authority and power, without excess.

of the Côte du Py hill. The soils are thick, a blend of schist, granite and blue
stone (diorite).
